Kēhau Noʻeau is as fierce as they come. A graphic artist, builder of traditional Hawaiian hales, māmā, and multi-medium artist are just a handful of ways to describe Kēhau. This month were are thrilled to share her latest installation with you all, featuring hand-painted works on glass with gold leaf.
Kēhau No'eau ‘s work is inspired directly from ʻāina (land) but not within the limits as we see it with our eyes or experience with our physical bodies. 'Āina, like Aloha, and Hawai'i herself are more than we can summarize in words and imagery but we try our best, and those who feel it, know it.
The event will be on SATURDAY, AUGUST 5TH 6PM-8PM. This even is FREE and all are welcome to enjoy. Drinks will be provided.
