Are you an artist needing a dedicated space to make? Looking for a way to keep yourself accountable? Do you just want to connect and create with others?
It’s been part of Icky Love Art Loft & Gallery’s mission since we opened to support creativity in all ways, and this includes offering a space to connect like-minded artists. Every Wednesday, from 9am-2pm, starting January 8th, 2025 we’ll be hosting our Maker Space Wednesdays, where you can book a spot at the gallery to come, make your art and collaborate in intimate setting.
We accept all makers who are working with:
Acrylic
Watercolor
Oil painting
Clay (hand-building only)
Inks
Small wood projects (carving with hand-tools, no power tools, please)
Digital art
Writers
Fiber Art
Block Printing + Monoprinting
Collage
Wire-wrapped jewelry
***We are sorry, but we cannot host artists using resin, large-scale screen-printing, candle-making & essential oils, or soldering. If you have questions, please reach out to Jaimie at jaimie@ickylove.com
HOW IT WORKS…
The space is available from 9am-2pm each Wednesday. (You can come and go as you please within this timeframe.) Choose a date from the drop down menu.
Each session is $25. If you book 4 consecutive weeks, choose the 4 week option, which will give you a $10 discount.
Due to the nature of offering only 10 spots, there are no cancellations or refunds, but you may transfer your spot to someone else 24 hours before.
You can book 1 hour before 9am on the Wednesday you’d like to join.
This is what a spot at the maker’s space offers:
- Air conditioning
- Dedicated table space
- Free WiFi
- Intimate setting, which caps at 10 people
- Private Bathroom
- Location above coffee shop with food truck
- Access to water
- 15% off anything in the gallery the day of your booked your spot
***Because people work in different mediums, you must bring your own art supplies
