MEET NOVEMBER’S FEATURED ARTISTS, MORGAN SNYDER & SARA KNIGHTON

SHELLS with TATTOOS

Join us for an dual art reception with Morgan Snyder and Sara Knighton. As November's featured artists, we're hosting a reception to recognize the talent and work of these two multi-dimensional artists. You can talk story, enjoy refreshments, and have a first look at this incredible collection titled SHELLS WITH INK.

About Morgan Snyder:

Morgan received a BA in studio art in 2014 with an emphasis in drawing and relief printmaking. She picked up a pen and started drawing plants in 2015 and hasn't stopped yet. Walking out in nature with her children allowed her to slow down and notice the intricacies of veining in a single leaf, the beauty in the way a snail makes its way across the ground, and the joy that is found in those small wonders.

This year she decided to bring that joy and connection to nature to others through the art of tattooing. She have always had an interest in tattoos and the process of creating artwork on a living canvas. Morgan says, "Not only are you creating a piece of art to fit each individual body, but you are also co-creating that art with each person. This co creation is something that I’m really looking forward to embracing. This show paired with Sara where we both work on the same pieces lends itself to that idea."

About Sara Knighton:

Sara Knighton is a passionate creator whose work is deeply inspired by the beauty of nature and the mesmerizing rhythms of the ocean. With each brushstroke, she translates the vibrant colors and textures of the natural world into a visual language that speaks louder than words ever could. For Sara, the ocean is not just a body of water; it is a source of endless inspiration—its waves, tides, and hues reflecting the ebb and flow of life itself.

For Sara, painting is a way to communicate the inexpressible, a dialogue with the universe that transcends words. Her work serves as a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us, urging us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the intricate tapestry of life. Sara says, "This collaboration with Morgan is the perfect example of how everything can be a canvas."
