Private Workshops
Bridal Showers, Birthdays, Team-building, Anniversaries, and More
Interested in hosting a private workshop for your friends, family, or special occasion? Whether you’re gathering loved ones together to celebrate a wedding, new baby, or wanting a way for your employees to connect through art, I can accommodate your specific needs. Workshops are hosting at my home studio in Ka‘a‘awa, but I can also travel to a location. Please see my price + list of workshops below. Prices are based on classes at my studio and include instruction, materials, + firing. Private workshops must have a minimum of 6 people. I can host up to 10 in the studio comfortably.
Here are some project options/ideas with pricing per person:
Handmade mug, $100: This involves slab building, pinching, coiling making patterns, and using color to create a functional cup for drinking.
Large succulent planter pinch pot, $75: This is the easiest technique, great for beginners. You will create 1 large or 2 small pots perfect for succulents to thrive.
Box planter with underglaze decoration, $110: You will construct a square-shaped planter. Using underglaze (alternate colored clay), you will decorate and carve your own designs.
Coil built bud-vase set (2), $80: Coiling is a wonderful way to create interesting shapes and textures. Bud vases also make excellent table accents for the home.
Kurinuki style yunomi cup, $70: Kurinuki is a technique that is fun and meditative, carving a shape out of a single block of clay. Yunomi cups are small, and traditionally used for tea.
Kurinuki style mug, $100: Using the kurinuki technique, you will carve a large cylinder and attach a handle.
Candle holder with light perforations, $60: Using slab techniques, you will build a candle holder and create holes for the light of a candle to shine through.
Wall Hanging with handmade beads + driftwood. $75: Using simple pinching techniques, we’ll make a variety of beads that will become a beautiful piece of home decor.
