Join potter Jaimie Nagle on Friday, December 6th at 5:30pm for a fun class where you will make your own hand-carved tray using the "sgrafitto" method, which literally means "to scratch". First we will make our tray using a dark clay and then paint a light-colored slip (liquid clay) on it. Once it dries, it will be ready to carve! Bring a design you'd love to recreate in clay, or just wing it. This is a great class for beginners or experiences potters who are looking for a new technique to add to their arsenal.

All materials and firing are provided. Trays will be ready to be picked up 4-6 weeks after the workshop. Shipping is available.

 *** Once you sign up for the workshop, you will automatically be registered. You will receive an email the week of the working with detailed instructions. All workshops are nonrefundable. You may cancel up to 72hrs before the workshop begins for store credit or towards another workshop at the gallery. Artists have the right to cancel a workshop or move the workshop date at their discretion, due to illness. You will be notified as soon as possible if this rarity does occur.
