Learn to capture flowers beautifully with loose ink drawing and watercolor painting techniques.

No experience required. Students must bring the materials listed below. Instructor is offering paint, paper and brush for rent or sale on this website. 

• Fountain pen or black gel/roller pen (where ink freely flows out. No ballpoint pens.)

• Watercolor palette with paint

• Watercolor brushes (round size 10 or 12. Chinese calligraphy brushes work too.)

• Watercolor sketchbook or paper (sizes 5x8" min, 12x16" max, hot-pressed preferred)

• Pencil

• Water container (old yogurt container or Talenti container work well).

• Paper towels or a cotton rag (for cleaning up brushes and absorbing paint as necessary).

• Fresh flowers (in a vase) for your subject matter

This is an adult class, however, children ages 13-17 are invited to take the workshop with an accompanied participating adult. 

*** Once you sign up for the workshop, you will automatically be registered. You will receive an email the week of the working with detailed instructions. All workshops are nonrefundable. You may cancel up to 72hrs before the workshop begins for store credit or towards another workshop at the gallery. Artists have the right to cancel a workshop or move the workshop date at their discretion, due to illness. You will be notified as soon as possible if this rarity does occur.
