In this 3-hour workshop, artist and educator, Jennifer Welch will introduce participants to the basics of stained glass. Each student will construct a stained-glass sun-catcher, learning the techniques of copper foiling, soldering and glass polishing.

This workshop is intended for beginners, but all are welcome to join!

About the instructor: Jennifer Welch is a glass artist living in Honolulu, Hawaii. She creates fused glass and stained glass art pieces and is a Resident Artist at Calvary By the Sea Lutheran Church in Honolulu. Jennifer holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.

This workshop is intended for 14-years and up, but 12-16-year olds are welcome with a participating adult.
